Choosing between Raw+ and Standard in a first funded month changes how many of the five cost items you can actually see, not only what they add up to. The FxPro Raw+ account is a raw-spread account aimed at active traders who want the tightest possible spreads: according to FxPro it shows spreads from 0.0 pips on major pairs and charges a commission of $3.50 per lot per side instead of building the cost into a wider spread. That splits one hidden item into two — a much smaller spread still buried inside your entry price, plus a commission that arrives as a charge of its own, repeats as the same round figure every time and is the only one of the five you can state to the cent before you click. Raw+ runs on MetaTrader 4, and a similar raw-pricing model is available on cTrader. It contrasts with the Standard account, which has no separate commission but wider all-in spreads — so the better choice depends on how often you trade.

What Raw+ actually delivers (measured)

0.1 lot$3.50 per side
1.0 lot$3.50 per side

What the account choice does to the list

The five items a first month is made of do not change with the account: the spread, the commission, the overnight swap, the fill difference and the hour you traded are the same list on both. What changes is how many of them are visible. Standard folds the first two into a single number that never arrives separately; Raw+ splits them, leaving a tighter spread inside the price and a commission you can count.

For someone learning where the money goes, that split is worth something by itself. It turns the largest and least visible item on the list into a smaller invisible part and a fully visible one — and the visible part happens to be the only cost of the five that never surprises anybody in week four.

The one charge that never moves

Commission at $3.50 per lot per side is fixed by the account, not by the market. It does not widen at the rollover, it does not depend on which major you trade, and it does not grow while you sleep. Multiply it by the lots you intend to trade and one item of the list is priced exactly, before the month begins.

The measured tiers add one detail worth knowing at the smallest sizes: a minimum charge applies below 0.1 lot, so the per-side figure there sits a little above the headline. Everything else on this page — the median EUR/USD spread, the all-in cost per standard lot, the break-even against Standard — belongs to the items that do move, and the tables carry the current reading for each of them.

Crossing the rest off

With the commission priced and the spread readable in the tables on our spreads and costs page, three items remain that no account choice removes: the overnight swap on positions that survive the rollover (swap rates), the gap between click and fill (trading conditions), and the hour the order landed (live spreads).

A first month planned this way has one exact figure, one readable figure, one figure you choose whether to trigger at all, and two that stay small as long as you know when they do not.

What a Raw+ trader has already met, week by week

Point in the first monthWhat has been charged by then
The first tradeA tight spread inside the entry price, plus $3.50 per lot per side charged separately
The first full weekThe same two items, scaled by the lots traded and nothing else
The first position left running overnightThe instrument's overnight rate, repeating for every night it lives
Any entry placed near the 00:00 server rolloverA wider spread than the median, with nothing charged separately for it

The commission is the only row here that can be worked out to the cent in advance; the other three depend on when and how long you trade.

Frequently asked questions

Does the account choice change what a beginner can see, not just what they pay?
Yes. On Standard the whole entry cost sits inside the spread and never arrives separately. On Raw+ most of it moves into a commission charged on its own, so it becomes a figure you can count from the first trade of the month.
What is the FxPro Raw+ account?
A raw-spread MetaTrader 4 account with spreads from 0.0 pips and a commission of $3.50 per lot per side.
What is the commission on FxPro Raw+?
$3.50 per lot per side, in place of a wider built-in spread.
Which of the five first-month costs is exactly predictable?
The commission. At $3.50 per lot per side it does not move with the market, the hour or the instrument, so it is the only item you can price to the cent before the order is placed. The other four depend on conditions.
Is the Raw+ commission the same for every order size?
There is a floor at the smallest size. From 0.1 lot upward our measurements show the headline $3.50 per lot per side; below that a minimum charge applies, so the per-side figure at 0.01 lot comes out a little higher. The measured tiers by order size are in the table on this page.
FxPro Raw+ vs Standard — which is cheaper?
It depends on your style: Raw+ (tight spread plus commission) tends to suit frequent traders and scalpers, while the Standard all-in spread can suit less frequent trading.
Can beginners use the FxPro Raw+ account?
Raw+ is aimed at active traders and scalpers. Beginners can use it, but many start on a Standard account or the free demo first before paying per-trade commissions.

What traders report

Three voices here, and two of them push back. One four-star reviewer found getting the raw account too complicated and went back to Standard; another is glad to have opened a cTrader account for about a hundred euros but says floating spreads caught him out more than once, and that when he asked, he was told a fixed-spread option is not available. The positive note is narrow and precise — a GBP/USD trader for whom the spread on that single pair, plus the leverage, is the whole reason to be here.

ENTICING. But getting the raw account was too complicated, I will stick to the former standard one.

I like trading pound with usd, and found the best conditions for it here. The leverage is great, and the spread is tight for this pair. I prefer it over eur cuz its less hasty.

got ctrader acc wuth just 100 euros, cheapest ctrader ever. Floating spreads though, are rough, they caught me couple of times 🤣 Wish at least 1 had fixed spreads, but support says, no such thing.
